Afrocentric Zombie Pin-Up

This unique project combined Afrocentric elements with classic pin-up aesthetics and a dark, zombie twist. The client envisioned a Black woman zombie inspired by the elegance of Marilyn Monroe, while embracing culturally significant details. The design features an anatomically correct exposed spine, bones, and realistic cuts and bruises to capture the undead theme. To highlight her cultural identity and the requested glamor, I incorporated a traditional Black hairstyle, a bold Cuban chain, and pearl earrings. Shades of red weave throughout the piece, emphasizing depth, contrast, and a touch of drama. The final tattoo is a striking fusion of beauty, culture, and horror.
